Kenneth L. Pedersen
Mr. Pedersen graduated from law school in 1972 and joined the firm of Parsons & Smith and was later made a partner in 1973. Mr. Pedersen then joined the firm of Webb, Burton, Carlson, Pedersen & Paine where he successfully litigated several mass tort cases including Toner v. Lederle which resulted in a $1.2 million verdict in federal court in 1984 as a result of the vaccine DTP. Mr. Pedersen has since tried numerous cases in front of juries both in and outside of Idaho. In 1994 Mr. Pedersen obtained a $10 million punitive damages verdict in Walston v. Monumental Life Ins. Co. for the bad faith and fraudulent sale of insurance. He has had numerous verdicts in excess of $1 million.
Mr. Pedersen is a recognized expert in bad faith litigation and has been asked to lecture on the subject on many occasions. Mr. Pedersen is well known for his zealous courtroom advocacy on behalf of his clients.
